Situated just west of Philadelphia, Newtown Square originally started as an agricultural community and has grown into a highly desirable residential community. The main corridor features thriving businesses, restaurants, and shops. Take a short drive away from the center of town, and you’ll find an abundance of greenery and idyllic spaces. Be sure to drive west on Goshen Road, where the rolling hills and horse farms will make you think you’ve been transported to the countryside. Some of the country’s oldest historical sites can be found here, dating back to the 1700’s. The town hosts an annual celebration called Historic Newtown Square Day, where visitors can explore sites like The Square TavernBartram’s Covered Bridge, and the Paper Mill House. Newtown Square is also home to Aronimink Golf Club, which was recently ranked in the top 10 golf courses in America, and in the top 50 in the world. Debbie’s favorites in Newtown Square include Ridley Creek State Park and the township’s paved walking trail.
